Quick Start: Creating a Manifest

A manifest organizes a group of related entities within a business domain. It acts as the central entry point for a CDM data model, defining which entities are included, how they relate to each other, and how the model is exported.

Step 1: Create the Manifest

1. Click the New icon (New → Manifest) on the toolbar.
2. Enter the manifest name.
3. Click Next.

Step 2: Manage Entities

1. To add an existing entity, select it from the dropdown and click .
2. To create a new local entity, enter the entity name in the text field and click .
3. Click Finish.

The manifest appears in the Project Navigator. You can continue editing its entities and configuration from there.
