Roles & Permissions
This section describes the approval system roles and the actions available to each role.
Requester
The Requester is the user who submits a manifest for approval.
Requesters can:
- Submit manifests for approval
- Track submitted approval requests
- View manifests in read-only mode while requests are active
- Cancel approval requests to make changes
- Publish approved manifests
Requesters receive notifications for:
- Review decisions
- Requested changes
- Approval completion
Reviewer
The Reviewer evaluates submitted manifests.
Reviewers can:
- Review assigned manifests
- Approve requests
- Reject requests
- Request changes
- Collaborate using comments
Reviewers receive notifications for:
- New review assignments
- Pending review reminders
- Request updates
Admin / Organization Owner
Admins and Organization Owners manage approval workflow behavior across the organization.
They can:
- Configure approval workflow settings
- Manage reviewer assignment behavior
- View organization-wide requests
- Review approval activity
- Unpublish manifests when permitted
