Entity Catalog
The Entity Catalog provides a centralized, searchable view of registered schemas in your organization.
It acts as the discovery layer of the CDM Registry, allowing teams to browse, search, and understand available data models.
Browsing Schemas
Schemas are displayed in a structured table view.
You can:
- Browse registered schemas
- Sort table columns
- Navigate paginated results
- Select schemas for actions
Click a schema row to open its detailed view.
Searching and Filtering
Use filters to quickly locate schemas.
Available filters include:
- Search bar — search by schema name
- Source System filter — filter by source system
- Tag filters — narrow results using tags
Selecting a tag automatically filters matching schemas.
Viewing Schema Details
To inspect a schema:
- Select a schema from the catalog.
- Open its detailed view.
Schema details include:
- Description
- Tags
- Interfaces
- Dependencies
- Ownership details
- Last modified information
Tags are clickable and can be used for filtering.
Exploring Interfaces and Dependencies
Within a schema, you can:
- View interfaces from the Interfaces tab
- Analyze dependencies from the Dependencies tab
- Navigate related schemas through dependency relationships
Dependencies support both:
- Table View
- Graph View
Table Controls
The catalog table supports:
- Sorting — reorder results
- Pagination — browse multiple pages
- Selection — select rows for actions
Use table controls at the bottom of the catalog for navigation.
Notifications
Success and error notifications appear after actions such as saving, updating, or deleting schemas.
