CDM Library Manifests

CDM library manifests are pre-built manifest templates provided through Negroni's standard libraries. They include Microsoft CDM templates and published manifest definitions that provide standardized entity groups as a ready-to-use starting point.

Overview

CDM library manifests are non-editable within Negroni to preserve their standardized structure. However, you can:

  • Add a CDM library manifest as a sub-manifest to extend its entities into your own manifest
  • Edit entities after adding them as exclusive entities within your manifest

This allows teams to adopt CDM standards quickly while still customizing entities to fit their requirements.

Viewing Available CDM Library Manifests

To browse available CDM library manifests:

  1. Right-click on a manifest in the Navigator.
  2. Select Add Sub-Manifest.
  3. Enable the library manifest filter to see the available CDM library manifest list.

Adding a CDM Library Manifest as a Sub-Manifest

  1. Right-click on the target manifest in the Navigator.
  2. Select Add Sub-Manifest.
  3. Enable the library manifest filter.
  4. Select the library manifest you want to add.
  5. Click Finish.

Once added, entities within the library sub-manifest can be extended or copied as exclusive entities for local editing.
