Notifications

This section explains how users are notified about approval-related events in Negroni.

Notification Events

Notifications are generated for key approval actions, including:

  • New publication requests assigned for review
  • Review decisions on submitted requests
  • Requested changes on manifests
  • Approved manifests ready for publication
  • Reminder notifications for pending reviews

Managing Notifications

Open notifications from the Notifications panel.

From the panel, you can:

  • Open related approval requests
  • Mark notifications as read
  • Clear notifications from the list

Unread notifications remain highlighted until opened or marked as read.

Notification Behavior

Notifications:

  • Are generated automatically by workflow events
  • Link directly to related requests or contexts
  • Are cleaned up automatically on a scheduled basis
  • Can be manually cleared after review
