Importing Manifests to the Registry

Negroni allows manifests to be imported into the CDM Registry during supported import and Marketplace installation workflows.

Registry availability

The Registry import option is only available during supported import workflows and Marketplace installations. Manually created manifests do not include this option.

Supported Workflows

You can import manifests to the Registry during:

  • Database Schema imports
  • OpenAPI 3.0 imports
  • Swagger 2.0 imports
  • Postman Collection imports
  • Marketplace installations

Importing a Manifest to the Registry

To import a manifest into the Registry:

  1. Start a supported import workflow.
  2. Complete the required configuration.
  3. Enable the Registry import option.
  4. Click Finish.

The manifest is imported and automatically registered in the Entity Catalog Entity Catalog.

Importing a Marketplace Schema

To import a Marketplace schema into the Registry:

  1. Open the Marketplace Marketplace.
  2. Select a schema to install.
  3. Enable the Registry import option during installation.
  4. Click Finish.

The schema becomes discoverable in the Entity Catalog Entity Catalog after installation.
