Martini DynamoDB Support

Martini connects to Amazon DynamoDB through a registered database connection and the DynamoDB Functions generated from DynamoDbMethods. Unlike MongoDB and Cassandra, DynamoDB does not have a dedicated service editor or workflow node — instead, your workflows and services call the DynamoDB Functions directly, using the databaseConnectionName of the connection you registered.

Getting Started

To interact with DynamoDB from Martini:

  1. Register a DynamoDB database connection in Martini Runtime — see NoSQL Database Connection for adding the connection through the Navigator.
  2. In a service or workflow, invoke the DynamoDB Functions (for example, getItem, query, scanTable, putItem, updateItem, or deleteItem), passing the registered databaseConnectionName so the function knows which DynamoDB connection to use.

For the full DynamoDB Functions reference — including parameter tables, return values, required parameters, and runnable examples for the most commonly used operations — see DynamoDB Functions.
