Quick start guide: Creating a Manifest
A Manifest acts as an organized guide for defining a group of related entities within a business or organizational domain. This document serves as a central entry point and directory, providing details about entities, their schema descriptions, partition data files, known relationships, and potentially nested sub-manifest objects.
To create a manifest, follow the steps below:
New Manifest
- Click the 'New' icon on the toolbar and select 'Manifest'.
- Populate the manifest name.
- Click Next.
Manage Entities
- You can choose an existing entity by selecting from the dropdown, then click (+) to add the chosen entity to the manifest.
- You can also choose to create a local entity by populating the entity name, then click (+) to add the entity to the manifest.
- Click Finish.
