Quick start guide: Creating a Manifest

A Manifest acts as an organized guide for defining a group of related entities within a business or organizational domain. This document serves as a central entry point and directory, providing details about entities, their schema descriptions, partition data files, known relationships, and potentially nested sub-manifest objects.

Creating a Manifest

To create a manifest, follow the steps below:

New Manifest

  1. Click the 'New' icon on the toolbar and select 'Manifest'.
  2. Populate the manifest name.
  3. Click Next.

Manage Entities

Managing Entities

  1. You can choose an existing entity by selecting from the dropdown, then click (+) to add the chosen entity to the manifest.
  2. You can also choose to create a local entity by populating the entity name, then click (+) to add the entity to the manifest.
  3. Click Finish.
