Installing Martini Designer Desktop

General Installation Steps

  1. Download Installer: Go to the Martini download page and select the installer for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux).

  2. Run Installer:

    • Windows:
      • Locate the downloaded installer martini_designer_installer_windows.exe on your file system.
      • Double-click the installer to begin installation.
    • macOS:
      • Locate the downloaded installer martini_designer_installer_macos.dmg on your file system.
      • Double-click the installer to begin installation.
    • Linux:
      • Using the terminal, locate the downloaded installer martini_desktop_installer_x86_64.sh on your file system.

      • Run the installer by entering the following command in the terminal:

        sh martini_desktop_installer_x86_64.sh

  3. Follow Installation Wizard: Complete the setup by following the on-screen instructions.

Starting Martini Designer Desktop

Windows: Launch Martini Designer Desktop from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Windows 10 users: To improve startup time, exclude Martini Desktop from Windows Defender scans via "Settings" > "Virus & threat protection".

macOS: Launch Martini Designer Desktop from the Applications folder.

Linux: Launch Martini Designer Desktop from the installation directory or desktop shortcut.

Ubuntu 24.04 users: An issue in Ubuntu 24.04 prevents the application from starting via the desktop shortcut. Please launch the application from the installation directory instead.

Installing a License

  1. Account Login: The first time you start Martini Designer Desktop, you will be prompted to log in to your Lonti account.

  2. Select Organization:

    Free Plans:

    • An organization is automatically set up for a single user. Simply select this organization.

    Paid Plans:

    • The administrator of your organization must give you access to a Martini Designer Desktop subscription before you can install a license:

      • The administrator must add you as a member of the organization.

      • The administrator must assign you to the Martini Designer Desktop subscription within the organization.

    • Select the appropriate organization to proceed.

  3. Select a Subscription: Choose the subscription to which you would like to add this license.
