Prerequisites

  • An active Lonti account with a Free Plan or higher.
  • Refer to System Requirements for Martini Designer Desktop.

Installing Martini Designer Desktop

General Installation Steps

  1. Download Installer: Visit https://www.lonti.com/download and download the installer for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  2. Run Installer: Locate and double-click the installer file.
  3. For Linux, use the terminal: sh Martini_Desktop_Installer_x86_64.sh.
  4. Follow Installation Wizard: Complete the setup by following the on-screen instructions.

Specific Instructions per OS

  • Windows: After installation, launch Martini Designer from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
  • macOS: Open Martini Designer from the Applications folder.
  • Linux: Launch Martini Designer from the installation directory or desktop shortcut.

Windows 10 Users

  • To improve startup time, exclude Martini Desktop from Windows Defender scans via Settings > "Virus & threat protection".

Installing a License

  1. Initial Run: The first time you start Martini Desktop you will be prompted to log in to your Lonti account.
  2. Select Organization:
  3. Free Plans: An organization is automatically set up for a single user. Simply select this organization.
  4. Paid Plans: You must be added as a member of the organization by an administrator. Additionally, ensure the administrator has assigned you to the Martini Desktop plan within the organization. Select the appropriate organization to proceed.
  5. Verify License: After installation, check your license under Subscription | License Details in Martini Designer Desktop.
