Creating a Lonti account
If you don't already have one you'll need an account with Lonti to get started. Setting up a new account is free and includes all the tools you need to get started.
Install Martini Designer Desktop or Martini Designer Team Workspace
Martini Designer is used to develop your integrations, workflows, and APIs. It is a powerful IDE (integrated development environment) that includes everything you need to build, test, and debug your projects.
There are two editions of Martini Designer:
- Martini Designer Desktop
- Martini Designer Team Workspace
Martini Designer Desktop and Martini Designer Team Workspace have the same user interface and contain the same features. Only the deployment model differs. Whereas Martini Designer Desktop is designed to be used by a single developer on a local computer, Martini Designer Team Workspace is designed to be deployed online and is ideal for multiple developers collaborating in a pre-production development environment.
Martini Designer Team Workspace can be provisioned instantly with Lonti or installed on your own server.

Installing Martini Server Runtime
The Martini Server Runtime is used for production deployments of your integrations, workflows, and APIs.
Martini Server Runtime can be provisioned as a fully managed online service with Lonti, installed on your own cloud-based or on-premise server, or any combination thereof.
Deployments of Martini Server Runtime can be as simple as a single server for a simple deployment with lower transaction volumes to massively scalable load balanced or clustered server deployments with unlimited transaction capacity.
