Martini Services Import & Export

Importing Services

In Martini, importing services is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to seamlessly import service files into your project:

  1. Initiate Import: Begin by dragging a service file (typically a .service extension) from your file system into Martini. This can be done using any standard file manager software.

  2. Select Target Directory: As you drag the file, navigate to the Martini Navigator view. Hover over the directory where you wish the service to be imported. It's crucial to choose the correct directory to maintain an organized project structure.

  3. Complete Import for Desktop Users: If you're utilizing Martini Desktop, a File Operation dialog will appear as part of the import process. In this dialog, select the "Copy Files" option. This ensures that the file is copied into your project rather than moved. Confirm the action by clicking 'OK'.

Your service is now imported into Martini and ready for further development or integration.

Exporting Services

Exporting services from Martini allows you to share or deploy your work outside of your current environment. Follow these steps to export services effectively:

  1. Select the Service: Navigate to the Navigator view within Martini and locate the service you wish to export. Services can be identified by their specific file extensions, which correspond to the type of service you are working with.

  2. Initiate Export: Right-click on the service file or folder you intend to export. From the context menu that appears, select the 'Export' option. This action opens the Export dialog, where you can specify the export parameters.

  3. Configure Export Options: In the Export dialog, choose the appropriate export type that matches your needs. You can export services as individual files or package multiple services into a single archive. Specify the destination where the export file should be saved. You may also have options to include additional metadata or dependencies, depending on your project's requirements.

  4. Complete the Export: After configuring all necessary options, click 'Finish' to start the export process. A progress dialog will appear, showing the status of the export operation. Once the export is complete, the file or archive will be available at the specified destination.

By following these steps, you can easily share your Martini services with others or deploy them to different environments, ensuring your integrations are portable and reusable.
